She practiced classical ballet from ages six to sixteen and originally aspired to be a professional ballerina, but had to quit at age seventeen due to developing arthritis in her hips. Her boyfriend at the time who had friends in the adult film industry helped her break into porn; she started out in gonzo productions in the mid 1990's.
