Before contacting us

• For HelixPulse, use the room menu to report content, block a participant, or manage your Community account.
• For iCloud, open its Connected Services page and review Sync Health before using Sync Now.
• For SIMKL, confirm the service is connected, then use Sync Now to request an immediate two-way sync.
• Use the refresh action in Up Next’s menu when its schedule looks stale. Home refreshes quietly in the background.
• Check notification and Live Activity permissions in Settings if reminders do not appear.
• Confirm the iPhone and Apple Watch are paired and the watch app is installed if Watch data is missing.
• Include screenshots and the exact message shown in the app when they help explain the issue.

Community Lists and Helix Collections

Publish a list from its menu in Library when you want to share it. Lists stay private until you publish them; adding or removing titles afterward updates the published version automatically. Follow Community Lists, weekly Helix Collections, or Revisit decade collections from Home, then find them in Lists You Follow in Library. Use the list menu to stop following, unpublish a list you own, or manage and delete your own lists. Helix Collections are refreshed weekly; if a refresh fails, the existing collection remains available.

Watch status and rewatches

Use the plus to save a movie or show to Plan to Watch. A checkmark shows it is in your Library; the adjacent status tells you whether it is planned, watching, or watched. Use the three-dot menu for other actions. Starting a show marks its first episode watched, while Mark Series as Complete marks the series complete.

Movies and watched episodes can record repeat viewings. A series rewatch starts after the series is complete, and its episodes appear with your watching queue. Marking an episode or season unwatched clears its repeat counts. Resetting all episodes or removing a title clears its relevant rewatch history. Remove a show from its show page or show poster, rather than an individual episode.

Ready to Watch

Ready to Watch combines available next episodes with planned movies. Home’s Continue Watching and Plan to Watch shelves show the TV and movie portions of the same queue. Caught-up shows with only future episodes appear in Coming Up instead. After importing a large library, preparing the queue may take a few minutes; you can explore other parts of the app while it finishes.

Helix recommendations

Open a recommendation to explore a title, then return to keep your results. To narrow a search, ask a new question with the details you want, such as a similar show without horror. Opening Ask Helix again starts a fresh session. Apple Intelligence requires a supported device and configuration. Cloud intelligence is optional, off by default, and requires a Community session; local smart picks remain available.

Events

Open Events from Home to browse upcoming events near you. You can choose another city, a date range, or a category. Location access is optional; the app can use a city you select instead. Event listings and ticket links come from Ticketmaster.

Helix Pulse and comments

Use the comment composer directly on a movie or episode discussion. Mark spoilers before posting so other readers can choose when to reveal them. Swipe your own comment to delete it. Press and hold a message or use its menu to report content or block its author. Reports are reviewed through SceneHelix moderation tools. You can delete your Community account from the app without deleting your local library.

Your library stays usable

SceneHelix saves edits locally first and keeps recovery checkpoints. If an unexpected sync would remove most of your library, the app protects the local copy and pauses that sync. A temporary iCloud or SIMKL issue should not prevent you from using your library, and either optional service can be disabled independently.
