He later honed his craft at Atlanta’s DeKalb School of the Arts before earning a BFA in Theatre Performance and relocating to Los Angeles, where he began his television career in 2013. He gained early recognition with recurring roles on The Fosters (Freeform) and Game of Silence (NBC), along with appearances on Agent Carter, Aquarius, and a guest-starring role on FOX's Lethal Weapon. He later wrote, directed, produced, and starred in Remember to Breathe in the Dark, and appeared in the top-billed cast of Good Side of Bad alongside Academy Award nominee Tess Harper and Emmy Award winner Kim Estes.
