Roll grew up in Hilpoltstein, near Nuremberg, where he attended the Gymnasium Hilpoltstein. In 2006, together with his school friend Phil Laude, he founded the comedy trio Y-Titty, which went on to become one of the most successful German-language YouTube channels. Until the group's dissolution in 2015, Roll served in various capacities within the trio, including as a performer, writer, host, producer, and singer. Following the end of Y-Titty, he focused more intensively on his own YouTube channel, "TC," where he regularly published videos until 2018.
