Francisco Marquez

Biography

Francisco Marquez is a multi-award-winning actor, producer, voice artist, and author known for his visceral performances, volatile charisma, and emotionally immersive character work. He appeared alongside Ryan Reynolds and Lil Rel Howery in Free Guy, directed by Shawn Levy, before delivering a breakout turn as the unpredictable antagonist in the psychological thriller Luminous-an independent feature that earned multiple festival awards and international selections for its morally complex tension. In 2024, Marquez produced and starred in two acclaimed short films: the genre-bending science fiction drama Parallel Partners and the action thriller Bounty Hunters. Combined, the projects earned over 20 international festival awards, including multiple Best Actor wins from the Los Angeles Film Awards, New York Film Awards, and Top Shorts, among others. Fluent in English and Spanish and trained in the Meisner Technique, Marquez gravitates toward psychologically layered roles-volatile leaders, fractured loners, soft-spoken wild cards, and men unraveling beneath controlled exteriors. His work blends emotional depth, physical commitment, and grounded realism. As a voice artist, he has fronted national campaigns for Amazon and Honda, and contributed voice work to projects for PlayStation, Microsoft, Acura, Spotify, and Goya Foods, among other global brands. In 2026, he expanded his creative work with the launch of OFF SCRIPT: The Actor’s Operating System, a technique-driven rehearsal framework and companion book, published through major retailers including Amazon and Barnes and Noble, designed to help actors structure character preparation and performance process. Driven by character-first storytelling, Marquez remains committed to bold, psychologically complex narratives that challenge, connect, and linger beyond the final frame. - IMDb mini biography by: Representative
